Felix describes the mural as ‘a freestyle pattern which was created during a hot summer day”. He created the piece “as a reflection of the summer vibes in the inner city of Berlin and its dynamic flavour”. Felix typically employs a very freeform style in his work, very typical of many illustrators' sketchbooks. Sketchbooks are the bedrock of many a street artists' ideas, but Felix takes this a step further by freeforming directly on site, showcasing his fluid, time crafted style. There’s a consistency in his lines that tell us the story of an artist confident in his work. This was a mural supported by Street Art Berlin, located next to the Mauerpark, situated on the former East/West Berlin border.
