RABEA SENFTENBERG built her own universe. The Queendom of Senftenberg is a place where little monsters have taken over. Rabea works on different surfaces - wood, stone, brick, canvas, cotton, skin or paper. Her work is often inspired by club culture and hedonism.

‘Drink Ink!’ is part of a series that is connected piece by piece and is actually one artwork of 20 single pieces on canvas. It shows a personal work; one made without any intention of selling or exhibiting. Rabea was drawing for herself and she described it as her cure. One of the special features of her work is that the interpretations can vary every time the viewer looks. Her work has a playful character and Seftenberg encourages exploring a world with the freedom of associations rather than identifying and interpreting the items in the artwork.
