WANDBRAND - "DYR" aka Damian Yves Rohde - is a contemporary Berlin artist known for his versatility. Growing up in an artistic family in West Berlin, he found the way to try his own creations at an early age. Always directly influenced and inspired by his close contacts and the zeitgeist (Berlin Kunsthaus Tacheles or the Dead Chickens collective), he initially began to make a name for himself by spraying graffiti and studying at the UDK (Universität der Künste) Berlin.

His abstract works are colourful and unconventional and show a unique character. Despite his worldwide success (in galleries in Paris, London and Basel), he has remained true to his artistic roots on the street and continues to spray walls. The piece
