Caro Pepes work underlines the subtle power of female figures. She paints both small surfaces and big scale murals (indoor and outdoor), mixing spray paint, acrylics and wall emulsion. Her body of art is an exploration of the inner world, and the complex nature of emotions. Caro's striking women are imbued with symbolism and intrigue.

Masks gives reference to the constructed realities we create for ourselves, as we search for acceptance or love. Caro says her works speak a “whispered truth”, and we see clearly in Masks something we all experience in our daily lives, yet are often unable to speak of it freely. We aren't made aware of what she may be thinking, but we can sense a singular vision, and we feel the artists' intimacy within the work.
